When you cross the Sanjo Ohashi Bridge over the Kamogawa River in Kyoto in Japan to the east and go down south, you will find yourself in an antique town from the Edo period. Shops trading ancient paintings and writings, curios, antiques stand side by side around the furumonzen Street, Shin-Monzen Street, and Nawate Street. We called the whole neighborhood the “Town of Antiques.” Welcome to the town of antiques.
